Scatter Terrain: Terrain Crate or Priority Supplies?

By Varulfr, in Terrain Building

So I'm looking to get some small scatter terrain pieces, but I'm stuck between getting the Priority Supplies vs. Terrain Crate's "Starship Scenery". Obviously priority supplies is distinctly SW and includes the setup cards, objectives, etc, but the TC set includes 26 pieces for $26 vs. PS's 12 for $20. TC also has a wider variety of pieces, including tables, wall mounts, cabinets, etc. TC however is 28 mm, though I'm not sure the difference from 32 mm would be terribly noticeable... Would the objectives in PS make it that much worth it? I always figure we can use digital versions of those cards since I only ever play casual games.

Anyone have enough experience with either/both to offer a suggestion?

Thanks much!

I have both. The Priority Supplies box has stuff to specially support the games objective cards, besides adding new cards. If you ask me, it's worth the price just for the vaporators, which are cool. The Terrain Crate stuff is mostly intended for interiors, stuff like tables and computer terminals. There's nothing that would look weird along side Legion scale models, but also, there's nothing as specifically useful for the game.

Also the Terrain Crate stuff is made from an even bendier plastic than FFG uses.

I hope that helps!

If you're only getting one, I would definitely pick priority supplies. The extra objective, condition and set up cards add a lot of variety to gameplay and the objective markers/scenery are distinctly star wars in design.
