Nice! 8pts bid eh? probably a good idea not to invest too many pts into Guri eh?
Good chance of getting a bulls-eye crackshot with the movement options from boost/barrel roll.
What do you call the squad? Crackshot Headhunters? Aces High?

What are the details of the list? Just based on the pilots, it looks like an uber-jouster list.

Didn't expect Maul... interesting. Might have to play with that.

From what I could tell, good range control, patience and being willing to use Ketsu to gum things up paid dividends. As did all 3 of them being Init matched. Large bases in close really screw with decloaking.

yeah, maul jumps out at me too. id have expected Asajj over Ketsu but i think the synergy of his three init 5 ships would have helped his positioning options in close.
Talonbane is cheap for how hard he hits. iv never played him but id like to give him a go.

Ketsu and Old Teroch are a match made in heaven. I obliterated many defenders (and Asajjs) in 1st edition with the pair. Anything that relied on tokens.
Its a good call in this jousting meta. Ywings and such will get 1 rounded.

I’ve been aiming for a Guri + Fenn build as well. The setup I’m going with is
Guri (76pts)
-Elusive
-Advanced Sensors
Fenn Rau (69pts)
-Composure
Kad Solus (54 pts)
Total: 199
Kad’s up in the air, really. I tried a Skull Squadron and gave Fearless to Fenn, but when I tried it the Skull lagged a bit and I played really sloppy. Still, Guri + Fenn seems like a good combo.
Edited by It’s One Of OursPalob and the hawk has taken a back seat now the HWK-290 title is 18pts. Yes its still playable but much less points to build around.
Generally speaking 4+ ship squads are where its at. some exceptions sure. 3 ship lists doable but not as prevalent in 2.0.
Scum could use some more elicit upgrades. These are a long way off id say as FFG is focused on realeasing ships for the newest 4 factions.

Do you feel they can be "reasonably" competitive?
I've got five, but I'd have to get another single conversion kit for them from ebay to be able to run them.
I love running five interceptors and Wampa, and fly them all independently of each other. I'm assuming the Maruaders would be flown in much the same way.
I call it "controlled chaos."

I had some pretty good results with the list in 1st edition, and that was before they got the health boost and native barrel roll. It's a pretty forgiving list to fly, but relies on attrition - you're rarely going to win 200-0 with it, but if you can get blocks in and keep shots on target it can be a scary list to face.
15 red dice and 30 health is not to be sniffed at!

If you're in on a generic Fang, I rather like swarm on Fenn and a Recruit.
If people subsequently leave the Recruit out of arc, Swarm doesnt matter. You can bail Fenn and the Recruit can block and smash things surprisingly well. Together, they just Init kill things.

That's pretty much how the interceptor swarm works also.
And if Wampa is left alone it's 18 dice. ![]()
Only 18 health though...
Oh, and Kihraxz conversion kit from ebay: ordered. ![]()

Til Fangs get mod slot bid it’s the best ‘upgrade’ they can get 😹
Crackshots are good against new jedi force users but what makes the list tick imo is Concordia, much better than 1st edition.
Guri is fine as is, not feeling Advanced Sensors or afterburners...
No name in the squad builder but some emojis 🔫🔫⚡

I'm playing Palob with title and Debris Gambit and would probably play more hawks if the title wasn't unique. Genesis Red combo is still very good.
As for my results at Adepticon I would like to say sorry to fellow Sucm players for not making deeper into the cut, as I had every chances to do so, but failed miserably.
My loss against Hasan's Vader + 3 Phantoms was caused purely by movement mistakes caused by the jet lag/stress/fatigue. On the list level I had advantage. During the Swiss I obliterated 2x Quad Phantoms.
I hope I showed that there is some hidden tools in a Scum arsenal, but gems need to be discovered yet.
I strongly recommend you to try this super Ketsu build: she's very strong, one of the best big base ships in the game at the moment.
As for Talonbane - he's ok if played properly and in proper list. If you build list with him, you need to make him least desired target. If he's your mian weapon he dies quickly as he can't run with limited dial. And remember: single moded 5 dice he delivers, is statisticaly exactly like double moded Proton Torpedo (minus crit). As you could see at Gold Squadron Stream it is not so hard to deliver it once or twice ![]()

Iirc Hasan made the Semi Final in the Toronto Systems Open with the same list he ran in Chicago (He's the one that got hammered by that stupid Tallon Roll call). Don't sweat it.
Watching you play was a pleasure.

Hasan flown flawlessly, it's why he won
He deserved it. Great opponent.
I was just referring to the comparison of the lists itself, as it is Scum-lists-topic. Looking just at the result one might think: "well, Scum lost against undercosted Phantoms, so no big deal - we're still in bad spot". So I think it's worth to point out that in this matchup Scum player had slightly better list, yet lost because of flying. Better player (ot at least rested
) maybe could win it.
Scum is doing fine. It's not quite as strong in hyperspace as the other factions, but it still has plenty of good options there. In hyperspace, scum is extremely strong, and has plenty of tools to handle phantoms

Unfortunately the stream s no longer online and I missed it - can you give a brief recap of how you flew ketsu? I can't imagine it was easy to catch phantoms with their pre-maneuver movement. Also did you use Maul's force regen ability at all?
I absolutely love the list, and I'm itching to give it a go. Maul is really cool and I'm stoked that you've found a useful spot for him to sit.

/grumblebleble what I get for not looking again at the results from Toronto. You're right. Marc de Bruyn not Hasan. Still a good player and I am still of the opinion that he got shafted hard. DoubleDown11 ran Hate + FCS instead of Afterburners on Vader.

GSP's recording should be up sometime this week. Old Para played on stream in Round 5.

Yes he is. He came up to our local shop today for the chance to kick my butt again. Which he did.
