What scum ships appear in the movies?

By Blail Blerg, in X-Wing

It seems like, just the fire spray twice: ep2 for an actual battle, and ep5 for an epic loading scene...

(And the Quadhumper which is quite underwhelming...)

Not many, unfortunately. In movies, only Firespray, Y-wing, Quadjumper, Lando's Falcon and C-ROC.

I believe the Outrider appears in one of the special edition of ANH, blasting off out of Tatooine

Lando's Falcon

Don't forget it's escape craft

Not many realise this, but there are 2 different Quadjumpers in TFA.

Left, that is not the one exploding.

Resistance transport does nothing noteworthy either. B-wings open their foils, omg!

As for obscure, in the movies, but only partially glimpsed ships:

The weapon smuggler's luxury yacht in TLJ.

In TFA "The Crimson Corsair" Sidon Ithano's Meson Martinet - a modified CSS1.

The Fang Fighters are in Rebels as are the Modified TIE/LN or Mining Guild TIEs.

From 1E both C-Roc and Shadowcaster are in Rebels.

the YV-666 made an appearance in The Clone Wars show I think. Not sure if it was in rebels as well.

Yes, I think that is correct. I think it was in an episode where Trandoshians were hunting padawans.

virtually none. the falcon, firespray, escape craft, y-wing, and quad jumper.

The z-95, hounds tooth, fang fighter, Lancer, and mining TIE show up across various cartoons, everything else is legends I believe.

The moment a Starviper shows up on screen in any way shape or form, my pants will need a vigorous cleaning.

Looks like the HWK-290 is canon from a mobile game. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/HWK-290_freighter

Other than that I think you're right.

Oh yeah, that sexy black one flown by an Imperial Governor.

I want it. I will buy another blister for a sexy black Imperial HWK-290.
Suppose I could just paint mine but...

I keep forgetting about this one. I should get another Hawk and paint it like this.

The topic asked about the movies, but it somehow moved into cartoons as well. That being said...

When did the C-ROC appear in a movie? It shows up several times in Rebels, but I don't recall any live-action appearances.

Isn't Dash Rebel?

There are proto-Fangs in The Clone Wars, too.

Don't remember it in Rebels, but I love the Clone Wars appearances.

I just watched that one - the Trandoshans have a different ship - basically a cargo hauler, not the YV-666. The YV-666 appears in a three or four-episode arc in Season 4 or 5, along with all of the named pilots we got for it in 1.0

I wanted to add Dryden Vos' yacht, too. Though we haven't seen a miniature for it, I think it'd be a pretty awesome one.

In Solo, there's at least one taking off from the spaceport on Corellia.

No, only in Solo and Rebels. :)

There is a stock looking Gozanti in EP1 though. That might be what you're thinking of. It flies across the background when Qui'gon et al enter Mos Espa.

That could actually be an interesting discussion. Dash delivers food to the Rebels, flies a speeder at the battle of Hoth, bodyguards Luke Skywalker and has a legitimate personal grudge against the Emperor...but for most of the novel and game he's technically just hired muscle.

I mean, if those rumored card packs give me a scum Dash pilot for the YT-2400, I won't complain.

Not the movies, but this just gets me to thinking that Authority IRD's would make a decent addition to the Scum lineup.

Maybe with Han Solo as a pilot for the revised Rebel Z-95 because I really want to recreate that space battle from Han Solo at Stars' End.

Emphasis on the "muscle". I think the reason Dash ignores asteroids is that he leans out of the cockpit and punches them away.

Right there with you. If Starvipers show up for 10 seconds in Episode 9, I will be declaring it the best Star Wars movie ever made and will have about a dozen desktop wallpapers of those 10 seconds of footage.

I’m willing to settle for B-Wings, though.

Every time I see one of the beefy interpretations of Dash I think of David Ryder (Reb Brown) in Space Mutiny, and all of the MST3K-applied nicknames: Big McLargehuge, Punt Rockgroin, Buff Slamchest, Bolt Vanderhuge...

I remember reading there was a lot of confusion about Dash's various portrayals. Someone said he'd had every possible hair color and style and stood about 6'0 between 160 and 220 lb. FWIW I imagined Kurt Russell circa 1980 as Dash while reading.

Yup. That certainly looks like a gozanti..
