I’m seeing 4 new cards (Aggressive Tactics, Force Guidance, Linked Targeting Array, and Electrobinoculars)
So I’m guessing that will all be in the new core; sadly no appearance of ion grenades, but hopefully the new core does come with concussions for anyone who didn’t buy two cores.

Electrobinocs also visible in B-1 pack, and they have a face-down comms upgrade which is probably Linked Targeting, Aggressive Tactics is shown either in the Upgrade article or the CW Core article to have Grievous, ditto Obi-Wan for Guidance. No Ion grenades it seems (probably because this game will never let you have that much Ion), but Phase I troopers have Smoke Grenades which seem to be exclusive to them at the moment as it is not in the Upgrade Pack.

It looks like the smoke grenades use a token (at least I'm guessing that's what that weird token in their spread is), so including that would mean including cardboard as well as the cards themselves.
I was just thinking over this weekend "i really need another copy of improvised orders for my son"
Is this the only chance of getting that card so far besides buying multiple copies if Han?

According to Star Wars Legion Wiki you can also get it in the Palpatine expansion.
You definitely can, I have the card and I only buy Imperials
I always loved the idea of card packs for X-Wing, but FF always maintained they wouldn’t make the. It’s nice to see that their braking their word at least for Legion.
I hope they keep making more of these types of packs. Another pack for things like the smoke grenade and any new thing that comes out. Or faction or light/dark specific packs. Or even re-prints of Command or Battle cards.
I guess if the packs do well in sales, FF will get a clear message and make more.
Yeah as someone who doesn’t buy all the things I’m really happy about this pack.
I would love to see a future pack for battle cards with the errata on them and also adding more cards. I imagine we will probably see that in a priority supplies II though.
I'm splitting a Core set soon (Rebels for me), planning on picking up Wookiees, Commandos, Han and Chewie, and Specialists relatively quickly. Sabine and the Veterans are also extremely appealing. I'm not worried about missing out on Core set stuff from the split, since we're both probably getting a Clone Wars core as well and we'll likely only play together until then anyways?
But how appealing is the card pack going to be for me? How many cards in it are only in one expansion so far? How many am I just going to want more copies of?
If you're buying most or all of everything for one faction then you will probably be okay not buying the card pack. You will miss out on Leia's upgrade cards (esteemed leader, environmental gear and commanding presence). Honestly, the pack might be worth a buy if only for extra copies of recon intel and environmental gear if you are planning on playing in tournaments. Otherwise you can just proxy.

Thanks! I might bump Leia up a bit on my overall priority list, but I’ll probably get one of most expansions eventually anyways, and by the time I’m playing in local tournaments I’m sure I’ll have a better idea of whether I’ll need those cards. So I’ll probably just ignore the card pack until then

Wondering if these cards will be in the upcoming expansions or just the new Clone Core Set?
I suspect they will find their way into future packs for all factions. I wouldn't be surprised if we see force guidance with a model like Kanan.

They are all in the upcoming card pack. I assume this is so they can forego having to include them in a bunch of (specifically Rebel and Imperial) expansions.

Given time, there is no doubt that they will show up. But until they do, the card pack keeps you from having to buy clone wars units if you don't want to. Also, it is a way to get some duplicate cards if needed.

I've got two core sets and have all but the four new cards (Aggressive Tactics, Force Guidance, Linked Targeting Array, and Electrobinoculars). Just wondering if there is a need to buy the card pack just to get those four cards. Wondering if they'll come out with any of the announced Rebel or Empire packs, ie..Dew Back, Shoretrooper, Rebel Veteran, Tauntaun?

I have doubt. I think they made the packs specifically so they don't have to include those cards in future Rebel and Empire expansions and can put new cards in there to entice us.

No, we know pretty much everything in those packs. They don't even have slots for two of those upgrade types.

If that were the case, why did Bossk come with Hunter, Endurance, and Emergency Stims? These were already released so why issue them again?
While the inclusion of the cards certainly is a selling point for those that don't wish to pursue to clone wars path, there is no reason that a future unit would not come with them.
Again the cards are there to get existing faction players up to speed/not feeling left out at minimal cost, but there is nothing that is exclusive with these cards it seems. If a new imperial or rebel unit fits them, then they will come with it.

Because they generally release things in multiple expansions so that you can get multiple copies. This is no evidence either of us is wrong, so obviously we will have to wait and see.

Every announced expansion up into clone wars comes with cards; so that’s not really in favor of the idea that they would stop having cards in expansions going forward.
The point of the card pack is that, if you aren’t a player who purchases the maximum number of fieldable units for each expansion, you probably won’t have all the copies you could use of each card.

I know, I wasn't saying they wouldn't have cards. I was saying they would have different cards so people wont go "ugh, just a bunch of cards I already have." I could certainly be wrong, however. We won't know for a while. As to your second point, the whole issue we're talking about is "point" of the card pack. You can't just definitively say what it is.

Oh I see, they already have rotated cards though in each wave.
It used to be all impact grenades, and long range comms, then we started getting Recon intel, hunter, tenacity, then frag grenades.
I mean, for everything that’s already released, if you bought the max fieldable units, there’s only a couple cards that might be considered lacking (environmental gear and endurance are the ones that come to mind)
