Criminals find ways to get their hands on all sorts of things. Could even be secondary market.

DP-20 was a commercial product of CEC. The Republic itself didn't have that large of a standing military until Syfodias commissioned the clones, with most of the member systems providing their own defense forces that the Republic's security/investigative forces would supplement if considered necessary.

I have started watching Resistance with my son and they have a CR-90 they use. It's one that was used by the Rebellion back in the day. I am sure it's been retrofitted. I bet you can have cards and such for the Resistance and Rebellion in your epic conversion kits. I don't see why you can't do the same with the Gozanti, as well.

Quoted for truth.
Then the Republic Consular-Class Corvette.
Then something for the Separatists, but I don't know what will fit.

Seps and FO are going to be hard.
They are both "Go big or go home" factions (capital ship wise).

Exactly. But FFG did do a really good job on the Raider in my book. I know it's devisive to some but I for one like it a lot. And I'm not that into Imperial stuff anyway so that says something. So if they wanted to take a crack at doing the same thing for those factions, I'd be okay with it. Like, really, REALLY, okay with it.
But if they go that route, the Seps well still be a challenge since their art style is by design a bit all over the place and doesn't have a lot of cohesion to it.

The Gozanti, or a faction specific refit of it, is a very good canon possibility for the Separatists. Ya I get that people will be annoyed at it being as it exists in both Imp and Scum as well, Imperial Assault Carrier and C-ROC respectively, but it would fill the niche as the "small" Huge ship. I just hope this time they let it keep it's **** primary turrets in addition to what ever Sep specific things they toss in on top.
Edited by HiemfireFor Separatist I've found only one fitting - Hardcell-class interstellar Transport (Techno Union design)
Circa 200 meters long, support thah could serve as hangar area for Vultures or charges refil since it has huge fuel cannisters.

At least it's cannon. I'd thought of this too, but it just doesn't look that good to me. Mostly because when we see it in the movie it's vertical and on the ground. When we kinda need it to be more horizontal. It also doesn't seem like a ship that has any business in a fight being as you point out, it's a flying fuel cell rack. Heck a few LAATs knock one out in a single salvo. I don't know. It'd work. I wouldn't be surprised at least. But...ugh that's tough
Epic-size ships for the Separatists:
- Trident-class Assault ship;
- Aurore-class freighter (larger than the VCX-100, so it could be a small epic)
- a 3rd Gozanti.

If we get a third Gozanti, I think it would be cool to issue it as available to multiple factions. Republic, CIS, Rebellion, Scum. Give it a generic base ship card, with faction flavored titles and crew cards.
The Galleon from Resistance could be cool, but it would be a very difficult sculpt to do right.

I love the Imp Raider.
I would like to see it reissued with a required Title that allows it to be Comandeered by the Rebels as the Corvus, because again, these ships need to be multi-faction when possible, IMHO.

Technically, that should make a design choice easier, no?

I've considered doing this mod, and if done right, you could get two complete ships.
they could to the Lucrehulk-class Battleshpere from ATOC.

This is a bit beyond my skill and willingness to try.
I have seen it done; somebody has a thread in the Mods subforum where they did just that.

Small issue. They're 10x in diameter what a Imp Assault Carrier is in length.

well maybe not then....

Yeah, but the donut hole makes them feel a lot smaller. 😉
HOWEVER, I think some sort of droid-control ship is exactly what CiS needs as a Huge. Even if they have to make something up to fit the bill.

Freighters are great platforms for conversion to that without having to develop a whole new ship, not that I'm opposed to a new ship being developed. A Gozanti could pull it off fairly easily.

It's 2x the size of the Imperial Star Destroyer.
Length: 3,170 meters
Width: 3,009 meters
Height/depth: 1,028.77 meters

They meant the Core Ship (Battlesphere).
It is a little smaller.

OH, GOD!!! I'd love that!
But you're right - so hard to make it true....and I Don't think it's epic size - it fits to the Colossus hangar's gate. Hull made of At-AT so between 20-30 meters long Only - so hardly large base.
