Nice. I like the Objectives
... I might have to play Imperial just so I can yell "I'm gonna use Death Blossom." with IG88B
Edited by DrasnightaAFAIK, the rules seem to specify that a dot next to a character's name means that they can't appear more than once. So no officer Lando and no Squadron Lando - of course... but I'm curious about how the rules actually reflect having Han Solo in the Millenium Falcon as well as Lando in the Millenium Falcon in the same fleet...

They Don't.
Go at it.
... This was something I'd been curous about since Day 1, and was wondeirng if they'd ever do... The game is now open to potentially have 3-4 Millennium Falcons on the Field on one side one day, if we get into Sequel Territory...
Edited by DrasnightaI can’t believe they actually added Puurgils...
I can’t believe I’m happy to see them...
Otherwise awesome looking expansion!

Plus an Exogorth! Go Space Slug!
I had hoped this Lando uniform would be for when he's used as a commander (since his maneuvers at the battle of Tanaab are well known). I figured his squadron card would be the creepy wearing of Han's clothes at the end of Empire.

I NEVER would’ve guessed we’d see a space slug in Armada.
We need Mel’s Miniatures to get on a 3D model ASAP. 😍

I thought he had one... Maybe it was another Company...
But this one seems to need a Template
the B-version increases your chances to land critical blows by replacing two of IG-88’s four blue dice with black dice.
I'm confused by the wording here. Do crits have an impact on squadrons minus Vader or similar?

I think they just mean blacks have a better chance of producing damage then blues, mean more damage on avarge and more damage on average means you could deal a "critical" blow to a squadron.
Iden versio looks good for a Raider (fitting since she was stationed on a raider) a nice boarding troop with other benifits!
Edit: Heck she can even be paired with boarding Vader and make a really mean raider lol
Edited by clontroper5Did I read that right. 28 upgrades? Did I see a VSD title card in that huge spread?

Curious wording on her. "At close range or distance 1" - I mean...'close range' includes 'distance 1', soooo....???

I think it's because squads technically don't attack at close range
Also: she's kind of expensive for the Raider. Now, a Demo build? Oh, yes. She's definitely going on a Demo.
I still don't really know what Marked For Destruction does - without any way on the card itself to generate objective tokens I have to assume that purrgils will have special text to generate them.

I wouldn't, because 1:) only one evade
2) Brunson is better
3) lots of other officer competition (mostly like Intel officer)
4) the boarding mechanic is not super useful from demo, I. E. If demo is in close range of things it should be dieing anyway
I’m curious how powerful Sabine’s bombs are. I could use some deterrents.
Also, yeah, that is very much a VSD Title card

Brunson may become situational with all those objectives that move obstacles every round.
MAN I'm pumped for this. I can't get anyone locally to play due to the time constraints. But a campaign that starts at 200 points, plus the ability to make a custom commander!?! Pretty sure this was tailor-made for me.
And I was just about to see about selling my collection (I've played 2 demo games and that's literally it, though I have 2 ISDs, Home One, 2 Arqs, etc.). No, I think I'll be in for a good while.
Edited by ClassicalMoserWith all these new campaign obstacles, flotilla rules, huge ship rules, raid tokens, chaff tokens, squadron keywords, I wish FFG would put a revised rulebook in one of these campaigns, or maybe with the SSD.

IMO since both players move obstacles it shouldn't affect her (might even make it easier to trigger her)

1) Isn't a huge problem, as if the Raider is getting four attacks in a single turn, it's not meaningfully surviving anyway (although I agree it's nice she doesn't exhaust to use this ability)
2) Ummm...no. Brunson requires the enemy to obligingly fly close enough to an obstacle to work, and Brunson only works once a turn (exhaust to use). Even on the Demo, Iden can do the exact same thing twice. For only one point more? No question, Iden wins.
3) Maybe
4) We talking about the same Demolisher, here? It lives in close range, that's literally the only place it can attack from . And even if it dies to enemy fire after the move+shoot thing it does...that's fine, she discards to use, so...if Demo dies, so what?

So she adds move+shoot+rip off a command from the enemy to the Demo's final charge...
I think he meant that if demo is in close of something, that something is dying anyway, so boarding teams aren't super useful.
