Rereleasing 1e Pilots without having to buy the ship is one of those things, but he didn’t name any names.

Good stuff coming out of this. Very much looking forward to seeing what 2.0 Epic has to offer. And card packs.

Still a chance to get back my boys, and a lot of other pilots, would be amazing. Granted things that gave them more utility like Targeting Astro and R7 are no longer in the game I am still a bit excited.

It's pretty glorious. Talk about an amazing way to make a game drag until it has to be called for time. TO's will be pleading with FFG to outlaw him just so they don't need to calculate the averages every round

Sooo.....what exactly did they say about Epic and about campaigns/scenarios? Is there a link to view it now that it's in the past? Twitch does only real time, right?

I doubt they said much of substance. This was in the Q&A session at Adepticon so anything more than five sentences puts people to sleep.

Epic 2.0 is finished development, will focus heavily on mission/objective type play, and you won't have to buy new ships...and they think it's awesome.

That's about all I recall them saying.

They didn't say much. Dion is usually pretty quick to upload his videos to YouTube, but since this is day 1 of a convention, I don't know how fast this one will be added.

All we know is what was already posted.

• It's coming, and it's going to be awesome
• They've put a lot of work into it, and just finished development, but they are not ready to do a reveal yet.
• In response to the question of when it is coming, Alex responded, "It's coming....I don't want to get in trouble. Soon." This tells me they already have a date in mind, so we're close.
• You will not need to buy new huge ships (no surprise). But we still don't know if it will be one kit for all 5 ships, or if it will be split by faction (I imagine it will be the latter).
• Scenario play will find its new home in Epic, which will be mainly a story-driven format.

I wouldn't get your hopes up on any non-canon pilots. Soontir, Rhymer, Jonus, Katarn, Dash, and some scum pilots being the exceptions due to lack of adequate source material, but I expect a lot of old Legends pilot abilities/roles to get replaced with new canon pilots. I know it's unpopular around here, but it helps me to keep all of my characters in one continuity so I kind of appreciate it.

I'd say we're definitely getting Hobbie and Wes, but this doesn't bode so well for Tarn, Tycho, or Carnor.

This is their GEMS project, which is in place for Keyforge already.

It's not a player-facing thing like the app, think more like the DCI system Magic the Gathering uses.

I don’t think it’s to far fetched that those pilots will see a return, there really isn’t much new cannon material on new star fighter pilots in the original trilogy timeline. And there is a want for those pilots to return...why not just make people happy and slap those names on their newly designed abilities
