Just admiring my new Aethersprites, comparing them to A-Wings, and thinking "Ooh, these would look cool on extra tiny bases".
Wouldn't tiny bases be nice?
Ahhhhhhhh, NO!
They could be juuuust wide enough for a bullseye arc!
Yea. I’m surprised they didn’t make vultures tiny. There was a lot of speculation before the announcement.
It'll come with the General Leia Organa Expansion Pack.

I was hoping for vultures on Armada style squadron bases in medium or lagre with variable stats depending on their damage taken.
Ah well.

Oh, come now! Vultures may be small (certainly smaller than I thought or remembered) but they're not that small!
Now, a swarm of Buzz Droids sticking up from a token base would be pretty cool.

Oh this is such a great idea for a custom buzz droid base thingie. There’s no reason it couldn’t be a 3-d token.

I was thinking tiny bases that don’t block other ships somehow, especially if you could get too many of them.

I was envisioning them on a large base, personally, and they're definitely small enough for a squad of four to fit on a large base.
The vision I had was this, or something like it.
Statline 4*/0*/4/0
Swarm (keyword) - whenever you take damage, cancel all but the last [h] or [c] you would take. Whenever you take damage, assign a (-1red+1green) token (a new token type I would lvoe to see, with options for both +1/-1 and -1/+1).
So it starts out with 4 hull, 4 attack, 0 agility, and every time it takes any damage, it loses a hull, loses an attack, and gains an agility.
Given that Calculate now exists, the ship ability could easily be 'when you take a calculate action, 4 calculate tokens, then discard one per damage card you have'.
