We have a character in our group who has 31 wounds, 61 strength, and 51 toughness. This player was considering a customized ascension package where he found a gene seed from a lost space marine chapter. Other than unnatural strength and toughness, larger size, what other traits should he have?

I was thinking resistance to poisons as well low light vision. Please share your thoughts or let me know if think this is too epic for an inquisitor.

Let me see if I got this straight. The basic idea is to "find some Geneseed" and pump it inside himself in order to a become an poor mans version of Astartes? No. This simply won´t work. Geneseed must be implanted on a young teen-aged male. The process to mature the growing internal extra organs and learning to control them takes years of time, teaching and careful monitoring. Without proper due process you most likely end up with demented mutated monsters. A know-how found only in Astartes Chapters and the Adeptus Mechanicus. You can´t just inject any random guy and get "insta-Astartes".

Ultimately its your game, so go with what works for you. But I seriously suggest dropping "Geneseed" and "Astartes" from the equation. If you really want to offer Unnatural Talents this way, instead make it a "gland-warrior upgrade" offered by AdMech or some such. With appropriate negative side-effects. Addictions, Insanity points and so on.
