The problem is there's not a real way to mass missile torrents alongside more durable platforms. For instance, you can't run something like Sinker / Jag / 3x missile torrents all with Sync'd Console because that puts you 3 points over. Likewise you couldn't run 3 missile torrents, an ARC and an I5 or I6 named Jedi with either config.

Sinker's ability doesn't work with missiles so you'd be wasting points on him anyway.

Definitely more joy. But why Obi-wan? Just the PS? Seems like he doesn't really interact much with the rest of the squad. I mean, yes, you TL with one Torrent and Obiwan, fire unmodified + force, then focus with the rest of them and pass the TL to each for 3 die focus shots... ehhh.... hmm. A tricky squad to use.

I feel like Battle Meditation might be useful. Along with a named Torrent who can get TLs.

Also if the target dies, I think it breaks the TL chain.

Strikes me that Obi's pilot ability is actually handy for keeping the Gold you've passed the lock to alive. He can spend his force for unlimited Focus on that Torrent.

All the Torrents except the baby need to come down 2 points, then we'd have a chance with them

Obi gives double focus on the cluster attacks when needed, or focus on defense so its hard to ps kill. He keeps the V19s alive.

If a ship dies and the lock chain is broke then that is awesome news and exactly what you want to do! Whenever that chain gets broken, you winning!

Worse thing about v19s is that flying with jedi, you cant even swarm tactics them up because Jedi dont have access to it, so an ability like Axe who can pass tokens after attacking is mostly useless.

I mostly feel for the new guys that have jumped in with Republic. Waiting for July to be relevant is going to drive some away, and for no discernible reason other than what seem to be a last minute dev panic that pushed some points up
