Yeah contrary to some of the other people here, I think Ions + dedicated is the best way to go.

2-4 of these guys in a mini-ion swarm, all with dedicated, seem like they would be really good at keeping an Ace alive to the endgame (Anakin/Obi/Plo?), all while setting up kill shots/boxes and being annoying blockers.

Haven't actually tested this though. Would like to hear from someone who has tried this.

My first forray with my beloved v19s was having a mini swarm of four support an Arc and Led by BrObi-Wan with his Droid. They were solid in that config. They take up a good foot print, they still can survive at least one solid shot. Often more. And their maneuverability is actually pretty good. Your adding generally two attack pools of two with focus and a pool of three with focus. At low initiative they can spend their focus on defense, get one back from BrObi for the return fire. The Arc in the back just provides focus fire support and blocks the break through, which plays back into the V19 talon roll at 2. For a test flight super thematic list, I was pleased.

My main problem with the V-19 is that the box is still not availiable in Denmark for some reason... My second problem is, that they did not use the original 2D design which has a way cooler/sleeker cockpit

2-0 with this, although swapped Tucker for another goldie to get BM off more reliably. Obi has 7B, Spare parts and the droid that lets you do an action after a red.

beaten two vulture swarms, but I think it would just get horrendously burned down by some of the higher PS alpha's out there, without doing enough in return. I'd like to experiment with clusters as well.

Having said all that, it's been a lot of fun - although not enough to tear me away from my beloved Resistance list at the moment...
