So with the Adepticon announcement tomorrow let's have some fun guessing what legion related things will be announced.
Me personally the clone wars factions and hopefully a way to star without having to buy the original core set.

Clone Wars faction packs, and expansions, probably the Imperial Veterans and Dewback packs if they're not announced today.

Hopefully a CIS starter, with a Republic starter. Maybe Anakin and Rex with some clones and such, and CIS with Dooku and B1 droids, as well as som love for imperials and rebels

I hope for another two-player starter so I don't have to make a choice between Jedi and droids, and so that two starters still is a good deal.
If they do go with separate starters the size of the GCW two-player, I would expect something like:
Anakin
Ahsoka (operative)
3× clone troopers
1× ARC troopers
2× AT-RT
---
Dooku
Ventress (operative)
3× B1 battledroids
1× B2 battledroids
4× STAP
Otherwise eliminate the operative and special forces, only have two units of the basic corps and one of the support.

that being said, I truly hope it isn't a new starter, but a half starter (Basically one factions starter contents) without dice, rulers, etc, but with the command catds

Hung out in the hot tub last night at the hotel with Alex Davy. Nothing to report about today’s announcement because I didn’t want to be “that guy” but he did sound very excited about today’s announcements, the stuff Luke is working on, Clone Wars stuff, and the future of the game.

Give it a little bit of time, so far the First Order is the only one that could even really get decent expansions for it, since at least people will recognize the Stormtroopers meanwhile the Resistance haven't had a single battle in their films involving ground troops that were memorable. I do think we will end up seeing ST stuff at somepoint, I just expect them to fully push for Clone Wars this year and next year with occasional OT releases before jumping onto the ST so they can give it the time it needs to more solidify itself in terms of content.

Oh, I fully get that. Honestly the Republic and CIS are better for the game, I have no doubt. The sequel trilogy is special to me.. it is the Star War that me and my son share (he’s 6) so having game I love, Legion, set in those films would be awesome. Plus, from an aesthetic viewpoint, I really love the First Order.

I'm glad that you can share that fun with your son. Til then you can try to excite him for Clone Wars by showing him the 2003-2005 mini series, I figure most kids would enjoy that.

Oh, he’s watched the Clone Wars and Rebels, and a third of Resistance, things got really busy with school and work, so we havent sat down together to warch it.
