Is that the First Order TIE Interceptor?

Looks like we've got a Resistance Y-Wing there, too.

On the lower right side? With the triangle wings? Bleh. I hope not.

I love Lando’s throwback gear. REAL Heros do wear capes.

That's exactly what I thought !!

More to the point.. that image is so busy and why has Finn got his back turned - an ode to his turn on the First Order? Where did Tico go!

Hopefully away from the movie with the rest of the real-world identity politics and class warfare she was spewing about last time.

I like the Resistance Y. Not a fan of that interceptor model though. One thing I found particularly interesting is Lando is nowhere to be seen in the movie poster - makes me question how big a role he will have.

C3PO: "Ah, Lando Calrissian, it is I, C3PO.. you probably dont recognize me in one piece.. or from this bowcaster I am currently holding..."

While that does look like an interceptor that is definitely a different model than what Vonreg uses in Resistance.

Also can't tell what x wings those are, but the A-wing looks like a RZ-1, in particular the one we have from the Rebel Aces pack. And the Y-wing looks like the Civil War one.

Wow wow wow, hold up is C3PO holding a gun? Did he start taking lessons from 000?

top left is a T-70, the one in the 3 ship group top right I'm not sure of. They're definitely doing a callback to Alphabet squadron with that section. The Y-Wing has a bit more chunk to it just forwards of the engine pylons. The A-Wing looks like an RZ-2 to me, nose is too long for an RZ-1, but the paint scheme is a dead ringer for the old aces pack.

After looking at the silhouette for the RZ-1 I think you are right that it is a RZ-2.

interesting. But if you remember, the episode 8 poster featured a full blown T-65 in flight. The only glimpse in the actually movie was Luke's abandoned at the bottom of the sea. I wouldn't read too much into the featured ships.

Is it too early to start hating on the Alien next to Finn?

Awwwwwww, bless.

And that Interceptor is bloody horrible.

No B-Wings.

Frowning.

Louder.

To what purpose? He/she (it?) hasn’t done anything yet.

It looks like the group on the left are the “Knights of Ren.” I like where that is heading.

We've technically already seen a Tie Interceptor for the First Order. Though they might just have this one supplant it.

Image result for tie interceptor first order

Also, seems that the First Order still can't keep a consistant paint scheme, Tie/Fos and TIE/sf being black with white wings, Tie Silencers being black with black wings, Tie Echalon being Imperial blue with black wings, Tie Interceptor/fo being red with black wings, and this new Tie being white with black wings.

It looks very galactic civil war, but hey despite its age at least it is likely a more successful bomber than the star fortress.

I'm going to imagine he won't be there much and they will effectively have them there as a glorified cameo, on the plus side that might mean that he gets to survive the film, rather than being used as a plot device to try and make the audience feel sad or that the situation is serious.

I'm not sure if the chunk comes from the blurriness of the image or not. If it is an OT era Y-Wing I'll shake my head a little though FFG should be happy since they can just repackage the new mold, give it a new scheme, and new pilots for the Resistance. I suspect the A-Wing is using the scheme as an homage to the concept art, especially with this being the third film in the trilogy.

Now, the question is if the new paint scheme for the T-70 means we might get a new release later with it giving episode 9 pilots for the the ship, not that it really needs more pilots with the number of options at the moment.

No, but he clearly didn't know everyone else was getting posed to take a picture, he is looking over going 'huh?'.

The B-Wing was sacrificed to give make the Resistance Transport and to give us the most 'effective bomber ever' the Resistance Bomber.

This looks like a "Robert Cop" knockoff poster. I'm hugely skeptical this is anything from Lucas/Disney.

Do they blow up the Death Star again? 😁

I can easily understand that, though lots of people said the same thing for the Solo art released beforehand too. Only time will tell.

No, no, see they blew up 2 moon sized Death Stars, and a planet Starkiller Base, so now the FO obviously has made a Death Sun for the resistance to blow up. :D

Don't be absurd!

...they're going after a second Starkiller, which is bigger and only half-finished, but can target capital ships, and also living teddy bears help out.

I've gone so far down the old, grumpy, jaded road that I've come out the other side and that sounds great. Let's do that. And Yoda's force ghost just tickles Kylo until he falls off a narrow walkway over a bottomless pit.

Does this feel fake to anyone?

C-3PO has a frigging bowcaster and the triangle-TIE looks ridiculous.
