Thought I would make a central thread for the announcement/updates.

I am guessing a new wave and a large one at that

Im thinking a soft 2.0 with rule revisions in a CC style box with lots of cards like more unique squadrons, and some ship titles. I would also be happy with a wave as well. I really hope its not a Rebel huge ship. Possibly clone Wars stuff but I'm not sure about that one.

My guess is on Imperial support ship (former dreadnaught class) and Dornean gunship. Plus maybe a future clone wars teaster.

I'm hoping they announce SWM28, and it's the Starhawk.

As a Rebel player, I want a reason to buy literally anything new for the first time in... 18 months?

A significant new wave and, oh, let's say a huge rebel ship that can now come out at the same time as the SSD.

I’m hoping for a 2.0 with points and slots going digital like x-wing.

I'm predicting "Something Big" ver. 2.

The announcement will be "Sorry for delaying the SSD, oh, and we are working on a new wave which we expect Q3 of 2019. News will be coming soon."

Of course with the SSD delayed to Q3, the new wave won't hit till Q1 2020.

I honestly don’t expect whatever they announce to be released until well after the ssd and most likely not until very late this year or early next year.

No negative Nancy posts yet! I'm out of the country, that's always when good news drops!..

Even if it is later delayed 6 months.

The announcement will be that the SSD's release date will be around Christmas

They will announce Christmas Ornaments for SSD to be released Q1 2020.

My vote: Multi-unit pack like the Hammerheads, it's a Dornean Gunship flotilla + pair of U-Wings.

I'm not sure what the expansion will be, but short of A2.0 or CW, I think some of the cards it will include will be Imperial Expansion-Only upgrade cards the same way the SSD is including Rebel-expansion only cards.
