Scurrg/Jakku build

So I've been playing around with Scurrg options, and came up with the following for Scum extended:

Scurrg Lok w/ Ion cannon turret, Veteran turret gunner (53 pts)

Scurrg Lok w/ Ion cannon turret, Veteran turret gunner (53 pts)

Quadrijet Jakku (32 pts)

Quadrijet Jakku (32 pts)

L3-37 w/ Tactical officer (28 pts)

Total = 198

It seems like it'll have enough firepower, as well as pretty good control elements.

Any thoughts?

Hyperspace is all the rage right now where I live BUT i like the concept. This concept is not very different from the Drea scurrg x3 list that that one Mynock dude flew.

Something like this:

You could theoretically pop an ion turret somewhere in there by dropping trick shot and a dorsal turret to give some control. Drea adds for the re-rolls.

I haven't run that one, but I have run Drea, two Loks and a Y.

I was just looking for something that's a little different than the typical Drea build.

The Ion Cannon Turrets feel iffy, but that could just be my lousy luck with getting ion tokens onto a target. I like it otherwise. Let us know how it works out for ya. :)

Thanks to all for the build suggestions. Although I'm trying to avoid Y-heavy builds, also.

Kavil w/ Expert handling, Dorsal turret, Veteran turret gunner (53 pts)

Torkil (38 pts) 

Total = 197

The idea is that Torkil reduces your intended target for the round, and the double taps commence. I like this list, and even after a really small sample size of games, I think it has possibilities.

I would strongly recommend that you add a turret on Torkil to expand his arc to apply his ability.

Yeah, that was brought to my attention before yesterday's games. I thought his printed arc counted, in addition to the turret.

It was a little tricky keeping prospective "victims" in arc. The problem is that until you add the Moldy Crow title, the front printed arc actually doesn't count. The only arc is where the turret is pointed.

Since the HWK doesn't have a turret slot, adding the Moldy Crow title activates the printed front arc.

This allows you to then affect two arcs when you rotate the turret. The 18 points the title costs is now kind of a deal breaker for this build.

At least that's my understanding of how the HWK works. At this point in time I think you have to give up too much to add the MC title.

Torkil has a primary turret. I think you mean add the title, Moldy Crow. Not sure where they would get the 15 pts for it, including the current 3 pt bid, from.

It's my understanding he doesn't get his primary turret arc, as well as the printed arc , until he adds the MC title.

And it looks like by adding it the rest of the build would be sacrificing too much.
