Still trying to decide on something to fly for the regional here in May, the above seems to have some great tools - but I'm worried it'll go down too quickly and be unable to keep up with the efficiency of like the I5 Resistance aces or Yions. Would Seismics be worth it or do I need the larger bid?

Does anyone have experience with or against something like this?

I'd be sure to give L'ulo Trick Shot or Predator. Tractor Beam could probably go

Can this tangle with the big boys of the meta right now? Worried I won't be able to trade the bomber for enough value.

Tbh, I've only flown against the bomber once. Its tough to say if its a golden choice these days. L'ulo definitely is. Poe is risky but has potential. I don't think this is a list that can be declared competitive on paper, it needs some rounds in

I think my main concern is Finch. Without the threat of trajectory simulator, you've basically got a Scurrg with a 'keep away' effect from the bombs.

I'd be tempted to try and find a budget version of Vennie, instead. The ship is tough as old boots with him flying it - to the point that I'd consider flying it without a bomb-load.

Interesting, maybe swapping FCS out for C-3P0 or even just losing some bid for PerCop?

Here's a variant with Vennie but no Poe I put together

Vennie & Co

(35) Tallissan Lintra [RZ-2 A-wing]
Points: 35

(38) L'ulo L'ampar [RZ-2 A-wing]
Points: 38

(32) Blue Squadron Recruit [RZ-2 A-wing]
Points: 32

(62) Vennie [MG-100 StarFortress]
(8) Perceptive Copilot
(5) Proton Bombs
(10) Trajectory Simulator
(6) Veteran Turret Gunner
Points: 91

Total points: 196

Bastian with an M9-G8 astromech is a great addition. If you put your lock onto the fortress it has the ability to reroll 1 attack dice per shot. This can then be used defensively as well once damage has been put onto the enemy

Ive ran Vennie trip ps1 As a bit and its good. I stopped running it since double tap Ywings at ps2 came into the meta. But dropping adv optics for the named ones would work too .

I would highly recommend pattern analyzer on Vennie though. The stop and hard 1s are money with the double tap, bringing non-maneuverable ships like Ywings and Uwings into range 1.

Check out Nein with m9g8 to support Vennie. Nein pretty much always focuses until he does his Nein/pattern thing, so the lock can go on Vennie for early game, then can also be defensive mid/late game.

Vennie (62)

C-3PO (Resistance) (6)
Veteran Turret Gunner (6)

Kill what you can with Vennie, get behind the squad with Nein and Lulo and then go to work. Once Vennie drops, Lulo's Lone Wolf kicks into gear and her offense goes bananas.
