So, if memory serves when wave 1(?) was delayed FFG did something great...They flew in some of the product early and had some game stores run a special event. The Massing at Sullest. Top four players got one of the four ships, ISD, MC80, Raider and MC30. Why can't they do so again? A special event...The Battle for Endor...1st place gets the new SSD. What do you think?

Because after what happened with what did With Destiny- where they tried to send product in early for their own version of it, and the factory FORGOT TO SEND half of it , they, as a company, decided to NEVER do it again.

This was part of one of their Asmodee/FFG keynote speeches last year.

...as disappointing as it is...

X-Wing did it infrequently for the first few waves, I miss that special event stuff as well.

Still, I do have an idea of what my own take on a Battle of Endor event would look like. Still needs a bit of work, however... and the SSD needs to be released.
