Exactly this - I'm cool with how this has played out.

The last few weeks has been the kind of communication I have wanted. My disappointment with the delay is somewhat mitigated by the fact that at least they let us know.

Let us be reminded that, at one stage, in universe, it was stated that the SSD project was so riddled with delays and errors, that Darth Vader had to execute not one, not two, but SEVEN project managers over the course of the project.

Probably because they didn’t want to make light of a situation that might make some folks legitimately mad. Note the repentant tone of directing people to customer service at the end. I think they meant to take the delay seriously, even if many of us are passe about it.
