Yes, the only way the token has to move is being overlapped or moved over by an enemy

Thanks for the response. I have the card and token but thought there was a card like they included with bombs in 1e.
Now I have a better idea of how these things work.

They did actually include a rules insert in the paper flyer with the credits/playtesters and that. Helps a bit to clarify some of the additional question marks on remotes - though not all.

I assumed that the token would be placed on the front nubs so that the ship would naturally go over the token, remaining with the enemy ship until one of them was destroyed.
Do what the card says, not what it doesn't say

Ok, just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page with that, since there was a major discussion about that not too long ago.
