Officially, last week. Unofficially, supplier dependant. Apparently a lot of stock hasn't arrived with warehouses yet, nevermind retailers.
Sigh. So that’s why I haven’t gotten my ships from the store.
Still new to this so...is Wave 3 going to be only Prequel related expansions? Can someone point me to more info on "waves?"?Sorry if this is a dumb question.

No, a reprint of the Imperial TIE Striker and the Scum Z-95 came out as well.

Every quarter, so once per season roughly.
Next Wave should come out about July or so. But FFG isn't really consistent.

Waves are just a group of expansions to be released at the same time. They wont restrict how you list build, just expand your options if you want to pick any of them up. There may be special tournaments that have stipulations like forcing you to include one of the new ships, or thematic ones that restrict you to just ships that were in a particular battle in SW lore, or whatever the Tournament Organizer has cooked up. Though most events will fall under Hyperspace or Extended rules for list building, so that wont be an issue too often. So far every wave in 2nd ed was either the launch of the game, or introduced new factions in addition to some stuff for the existing ones, but wave 4 is looking like what you'd expect from a typical wave. Basically they'll normally be just one or two new ships on each faction, whether that means they are re-releases of stuff from the conversion kits or entirely new to the game (gonna be a mix of these two for awhile it would seem), but apart from that everything continues as normal upon release.
