Is anyone concerned by the lack of a new RRG with the latest Wave release? There doesn’t seem to be much talk about this fact.

Does anyone think that this is due to the unofficial document that has been released in the wild and they may be looking at that before releasing the document?

With this, I finish my pondering 🤔 .

My idealistic theory is that the developers are waiting a week or two to see what major rule questions/issues come up from Wave 3, and then the subsequent rulings can be included in the updated Rules Reference.

They just posted a ton of new rules FAQ entries in the rules forum.

From what I've heard, whenever FFG releases an official document with copyrighted material on it, they have to submit it to LFL for approval and that takes forever, which is why FFG switched away from their old system of patching the game through FAQ documents that took forever to get through license-holder red tape and now uses app updates and forum posts to make regular patches to the game.

A new Rules Reference document is definitely something that is going to require LFL review and approval, so just going to need to be patient and trust your TOs or your own instincts.

It's probably awaiting LFL approval.
