I've seen a couple of Vader/Soontir/Duchess lists around since Soontir became Hyperspace legal. I'm curious however, what people think about flying Vader/Soontir/Vermeil.

This list leaves a 10 point bid with some options to remove if you want an even bigger one (FCS on Vader, Shield Upgrade on Fel). I'm thinking about trying this out but wanted to see if anyone else had tried something similar.

I played a Hyperspace Trial last weekend and lost the final against a very good player with Soontir (Pred., SU, HU), Vader (FCS, Hate, Afterburners), and Duchess (Crack shot, Seismics). The addition of Soontir to Hyperspace makes pairing him with Vader really scary

That 46pt on Duchess could be spent on Vizier....

Gives you a fourth ship. Could drop Gideon to Nightbeast, and swap FCS for afterburners on Vader as an option. Gideon hits hard for 30pts if not dealt with early though.

Definitely flying that Vader/Soontir/Duchess list later. That looks like a blast and a half.

Vader with FCS, Soontir with Predator, Duchess with Predator, and Wampa - the extra ship, especially Wampa, seems well worth it to me
