I started playing Armada about 8 months ago. When I asked for good ways to learn, many recommended “Fire When Ready” podcast. Excellent recommendation! Listened to everyone. However, there haven’t been any new ones released. What happened?
What happened to “Fire When Ready” Podcast?
Either Armada is dead, or life has found a way.
I enjoyed listening to him on my way to work, relaxing voice and smooth entertainment.
Jim has debased himself by taking up X-wing. I haven't seen him at Armada night in a few months.
That's @Armada Jim, though not sure if he still comes around here or not.

Funny how that works. X-Wing is what drove me to Armada.
Armada hasn't had any real news for months, my guess is that he's just run out of stuff to report on. As far as I remember he's caught up on past releases, now he's just reporting on stuff as it launches (he had that SSD pod up pretty quick), but armada's schedule is terrible.

SSD Pod? Last episode I can find was June of 2018 about the Arquitens.
I’ve got to brag on @Armada Jim and the quality of his podcasts. A friend and I picked up Armada about 8 months ago. He and I fumbled through the rule book as we played three games. I then listened to about a dozen Fire When Ready episodes. My 4th game of Armada was at a Regional. I ended up 3-1 all because of what I learned from Jim’s podcasts.
He did a great job of covering ships and builds as waves released. I’d love to see him go back and review each ship and potential builds with all the upgrades available up to and including the release of the SSD.
