Ran into a disagreement on this card tonight. The Traitor player thought the card should activate the Catacombs for the moving Imperial player. The Imperial player thought not, because of the last line of the card, which reads: "Activate the Inner Palace area in either case".

Seems like moving to an area activates the area, and the "in either case" sentence is there to make sure the palace area is activated in addition to the target area of the move.

What do y'all think?

Since the card specifically tells you wht area to Activate that is the one you activate. This is most probably so the Imperial player has a chance of assaulting Horus by moving units to the Vengeful Spirit and then attack the Command center with those units with a following order.

I think the same. It does not activate the catacoombs.

Thanks! We came to these conclusions as well, but didn't want a "tainted" win.
