Is Maul in Sith Infiltrator OP?

By Greedo_Sharpshooter, in X-Wing

I hope Maul is at least playable.

Got to put Maul on the table tonight. Dude feels good. I'm sure it's possible to play him more subtle, but he feels like a blunt instrument, a tool to smash things open. Really fitting for his role in the The Phantom Menace. I flew with Scimitar on there, but just Hate at 68 seems like a totally fine build. General Grievous if he's not flying along side. He's not much tankier than a B-Wing, but he feels like he trades very well for his points. He's got such a good array of red moves. The 5K can really clear a scrum, and the S-Loop is another nice option.

Only played two games--one with, one against--and he's someone I wouldn't be surprised to see tick up a bit in cost. Not necessarily a huge amount, but a bit.

His ability lets him decloak then shoot, then recloak. I worded it wrong, sorry.

🤨 He has to get shot at to be able to decloak then shoot if he didn't decloak in the system phase. Key term: "After you defend,"

•Count Dooku

If Dooku pilot hasn't already decloaked that round he can basically be ignored and won't be able to do much of anything...

While that's true, I find that jamming with probe droids makes him very useful even when he doesn't have a shot, but that's only helpful if it's not a one-on-one situation.

I don't know about OP, but I didn't realize how fast they can move until last night when I tried to aggressively outflank Dooku and then found him outflanking me instead. It did not end well...

Also probably worth noting that removing a cloak token is *not* the same thing as Decloaking.
