This list of three Y-wings and a Z95, is able to aquire a lock at I5 for the I2 Y-wing. Then aquire two locks during the engagement phase. An I5 double modified proton torpedo, and two I7! Double modified proton torpedos.

As long as Dutch clears his stress, it is possible to do this on the second round of engagement, and if Airen can clear stress the I2 Y-Wing can aquire two new locks at I5.

This amount of firepower and ability to lock after I6 means catching Aces off guard

Furthermore use of Swarm tactics means these shots should all go off in the I4 engagement phase, before two of the Y-Wings would normally be able to shoot at all.

Three simple list tweaks, 1) swapping Airen's talent from squad leader to swarm tactics 2) Swapping the I2 Y-wing to I5 Nora Wexley 3) Swapping the I3 Y-wing to an I2 Y-wing

Means losing double mods on one proton torpedo, but does loosen up the formation, allow all shots to be fired at I5, reduces stress gained on Airen, adds a 4 point bid to aid getting locks at I5, adds Nora's pilot ability.

Any thoughts, overall I'm impressed at how Airen and Dutch interact, even giving Swarm tactics Airen a concussion missile and letting swarm tactics Dutch with proton torpedos support each other and pass of I5 in the shooting phase is a strong piece of a squad.

I ran something like this at the start of 2.0. Airen with Squad Leader, Wedge and 2 Red Squadron T65s with Proton Torps.

The problem with my version was the stress, with Squad Leader stressing Airen and Airen's free action stressing someone else. So the first engagement would be great but then you couldn't turn around.

You can definitely get a ship off the board in one engagement though.

Sorry I meant two I7 locks

As Airen can grant Dutch a lock during the I5 engagement phase and Dutch can pass another ship that lock too.

Thus, two locks can be obtained after all I6 pilots have finished moving.
