If the new released factions are not legal for adepticon main event because of the "delay new stuff" law .

Are the new gas clouds also not allowed?

Personally, as this question is coming up for a local tournament (but I'm neither Marshal nor Judge there), I'd cite this from the Legal Products and Substitution section of the current Tournament Rules: " All X-Wing Second Edition essential components are legal for Standard Play—including official promotional tools such as maneuver tools. " Obstacles are considered essential components, so if I were doing it, I'd allow it.

I realize there are other sections that are more specific about squad building, but I'd suggest that the section I've cited would overrule it. But hey... that's why I'm not the marshal or judge!

I know for a local event it's legal. (Really it's the TO discretion)Actually the new stuff is ok for adepticon day 2 hyperspace.

But the bigger level stuff it isnt so clear about.

Adepticon itself is a Premier level event, meaning there is an 11 day waiting period between product release & legality. So nope to Gas Clouds for the main event.
