The swag is pretty sweet, just confused about " Top 4 players will each claim a set of custom range rulers and movement templates " think they copied and pasted that fron X-wing unless we are also getting a custom maneuver tool. With incentive prizes to keep playing no matter how you are doing this all sounds great! If only I could have found a away to make it to this event. 😢

Did I miss read, or does the winner no longer get to design a card?

I’m trying to figure who’s skin I need to wear like a suit to get into worlds and get these prizes.

Your right, it does not say they get to design a card, but it also does not say that is not a prize could just be an omission.

They also did not mention it in the IA article. But it was explicitly mentioned in the L5R article for the Worlds last year. Could hint they're going to move away from that as a prize.

Well, they'd need to release new expansions in either of the games to have a use for those cards, so it's easy to understand why it's no longer a prize in Armada or IA...

Hum, that alt art damage deck has me kind of excited. It might actually be something alt art i actually try to buy and I wonder if it's a hint toward new damage decks being printed for starter sets. Probably reaching but it makes me wonder.

Lol i was thinking that too. "Can't design new cards for a game they might be killing". (required qualified when someone suggests the game might die: I don't think the game is being killed, I do think it's losing audience because of the lack of announcements but I'm excited to see what the next 2 or 3 months will bring)

It was mentioned that there will be a worlds 2020 for Armada so the game is not dead yet.

I want the Thrawn card....wonder how fast it'll go up on eBay. 😆

These are all pretty exceptional prizes, and I want to throw proper praise to FFGOP where it is due--this is clearly them stepping it up in a big way. Horray!
