Toying with lists to take on the inevitable droid swarm lists that are coming. My thoughts on this are to use Lumi to help out the Torrents on the initial joust and have her as an endgame piece. The first Torrent locks and the rest Focus. Nobody uses their locks, they just pass them down so the next person can have focused Cluster missile shots. Hopefully, punch a bunch of initial damage in, subtract some ships then have Lumi and the surviving Torrents play a game of X Wing.

Does this work? Doesn't the lock have to be spent to fire the missile?

In 2.0 you only have to have the lock to fire the missile, not spend it.

I don't think you'll need all those Synchronized Consoles. You could maybe drop two of them for more of a bid since so many droids are also sporting I3. Console Torrent-Wingman and Console Torrent-Wingman.

Also if the idea is to pass the locks about you could maybe drop some of the torrents down to Gold Squadron Troopers and up one to Oddball or Kickback. 3 Torrents dropped to Gold Squadron Troopers with Kickback gets you to 194.

I've thought of a very similar list, but with Homing Missiles for that sick guaranteed damage and fully clone:

Odd Ball in an ARC with Predator, R4-P44, and SynCon

4x GSTs with Homing Missiles and SynCons

I'm going to try a list I saw on another thread:

-4x Gold Squadron Troopers w/ Cluster Missiles & Synchronized Consoles.

-Jedi Pilot w/ Synchronized Console, Battle Mediation, & R3. (Obiwan is the best in my opinion).

All Torrents fly first and focus, then Kenobi flies last and acquires two target locks or uses his Battle Meditation to coordinate with two Torrents and they acquire Target Locks. After each ally uses their Target Lock on one enemy ship, it passes on to another ship with Synchronized Console. And if a Torrent spends a Focus token on Defense, Kenobi uses a Force Token to give it back to them for Offense.

Do you mean you can spend TL to reroll dices and transfer it ?

In french I understand that if you still have it after the ship attack you can spend it to transfer it

In order to pass it, you cannot spend it for rerolls

I'm gonna try this out soon. I don't think it's super competitive or anything but it's in the same vein as OP's.

Ashoka is a favorite of mine, so I wanted her in charge of the mini swarm. Nets 3 tls for ur clones if you feel the need. In all honesty I'm pretty sure this list will go up in flames but that wont keep me from trying it.

Non-missile versions seem tempting to me, as well. Torrents can be deceptively hardy, plus Luminara and Obi-Wan are able to use their force to protect whoever your enemy targets.
