I know everyone is all over Fett's johnson but I just beat another encounter with him today.

Fett might beat Han, but if he comes for him (or chewie) the mega combo of Han/Leia/Chewie is just too much for him to charge into. Leia alone threw 6 damage on him with a single shooting attack (brains and brawn), that and I suppressed him into oblivion.

This particular list is all about board control. Charge down alleys of Radar Lasercannon fire OR stomp across minefields trying to flank me.

Taking this to tournement this week. The only possible change would be the Proton teams for Sniper teams but to be honest, the proton teams seem more tactical to me. Once you get a nice little field going, noone dares step in...good for middle board objectives. and the Scout 3 is amazing for positioning and going right to laying down mines.

At least the list sounds like a lot of fun! I hope you'll report how it fared on the tournament.

I would definitely exchange Sabotaged Communications for Coordinated Bombardment (There is no better way to start a battle than with 2 Dodge tokens on Chewie and Han each and a shot an all enemy Sniper teams) and with only 3 core units (one of which can't really shoot) Covering Fire can easily be exchanged for Change of Plans.

You are prolly right on both counts there.

Yea, that was a pretty solid tip. I agree as those two orders were lackluster in my past game. Got me thinking of improvised order too, save points and more flexibility...and sure fire double 2 hits from Han on trooper squads...

My army is pretty well spread out for board control. The Relay should help a bit.

Mmm. I like the list but I think you need an extra (or 2) unit of Corps. With only 3 units (with only 2 Z) you can be overpowered when you need to capture the objectives. Good luck at the tournament!

At first glance it DOES seem corps light. The heavy character compliment has to cover for that.

Then again, objective wise, the army is entirely troops....which is nice.

Lol...any OPPOSING ARMY is corps light after Han gets thru with them.

....barring Heavy Cover Heavy tables of course.

For the record, I normally play not in store but on even light/heavy terrain boards. Meaning Han is terrifyingly effective when he is shooting smart.

I would drop the med droid and one other upgrade and put HQ Uplink on both FDs. Then every single turn you can order them with the Uplink, fire with Barrage, and recover. You get to activate them every turn exactly when you want (really important when they're immobile and they need to wait until a target is in range/LoS) and get the extra dice and Suppressive to make up for not having an aim. It's really the only way to run FDs in my opinion, and is quite good.

Too much emphasis on HD's. Opponents tend to avoid them.

I agree. Though it's hard to avoid two of those FDs ...

Just one last advice: Don't get cocky 😉

Sound advice. 😁

Got totally smacked down. Terrain was super light. No good for rebs.

The only issue with the list might have been proton strike teams were not nearly resiliant enough to be effective. Could have been a terrain issue.

Han worked really well, twice I went up against Boba and shut his sorry *** down with supression. Still unimpressed.

Boba is resiliant and good sure...but he does not spell the demise of Han.

Working a new tourney list now so not to be so reliant on terrain setup for unknown tourneys.

Im Rebs only....
