There is an email extended tournament coming up and I am set on bringing a Decimator.

I was thinking of pairing him with Whisper and a named Tie fighter. The other option is maybe Dutchess and Countdown.

My only experience running a Decimator is with RAC hull tua, Sai st 321, and Soontir pred.

Was a real blast playing it. Rac and Sai are a great wall of hull for soontir to hide behind

I have played this:

RAC, Darth Vader, The Grand Inquisitor, Shield Upgrade, Hotshot Gunner, Dauntless

Whisper, Fifth Brother, Juke, Collision Detector

They have synergies and hit like a ton of brocks. I've had much more wins than loses, only times I've really suffered was against TIE swarm and when Whisper really fails his green dice. With this list you don't actually care if you have the intiative or not, the list works just fine both ways.

Always nervous around 2 ships builds. You are stacking a lot of faith in tje dice gods at times. Wouldn't count a lone TIE as a 3rd ship lol

I would also be scared to fly a 2 ship list...so much risk. RAC with Tua, Juke Whisper, and Predator Soontir would fit?

Let the past die... kill it if you have to.
