Really looking forward to these guys. Anakin, Wolffe, and a couple of V-19's sounds fun

Wolffe is good. That gunner crew is fantastic paired with Sinker. This faction is gonna be hitting really really hard.

This!
Wolffee and Cody are beasts, agreed.
R4-P44 with the fast moves on the dial being red might be helpful. Because being so slow was the achilles heel of the Arcs when I tried 2.0 rebel incarnations.
But everything depends on points, of course.

The A-Wings were the same way.
I'm bad at formation flying, so I'm excited to try and learn in the Republic. The Clones look like they really favor keeping in formation and making your opponent second guess who their priority target should be. That sounds so cool to toy around with.

Wait, I thought the Rz-2 had blue 3 banks where the Rz-1 didn't? That and the ship names are different as well, RZ-1 and RZ-2. But the Arc-170 for Rebel and Republic is called Arc-170 Starfighter and the dial is the exact same which lets it be used for either faction.
Unless old Rebel A-wings gain blue 3 banks if you use the Resistance dial. 😛
Edited by KiraYamatoSFHere's the thing which strikes me about R4-P44: pull a K-Turn when you already have bullseye on something, and you'll end up with bullseye on it again.

I'll be really interested to see the price of 7th Fleet Gunner. Seems like that'd be a pretty strong opening turn to have 4x ARCs with 7FG daisy chaining extra dice, so I'd wager the price will be high enough to keep that from happening.

Wolffe is super cool, certainly a top-3 coolest uses of charges yet.

Wolffe w/Cody, Sinker w/Seventh Fleet. Wolffe gets to throw all the dice he wants and there's heavy consequences for shooting him. If you can fit a decent support Jedi alongside them (Ashoka?), then the republic should be in business.

RZ2s had a slightly different dial (blue 3 bank), not hard to proxy, but also not tourney legal due to different ship name.
Arc is exactly the same in both maneuvers and name, so the model/dial is legal for tourney use in either faction.

The rebel dial has all the same maneuvers, but has a white move instead of s blue. My opponent didn’t care.

Different color maneuvers of the same speed and bearing are not the same maneuvers. If you're playing a casual game that is between you and your opponent, but proxying an RZ-1 or RZ-2 with their Resistance/Rebel counterpart's dials is not allowed in tournaments. It is a good way to get yourself tossed out of one though...

Uh huh.
Guesses on how the cardboard is gonna be in the pack, since we can use our rebel Arcs as well?
Oddball, Sinker, Jag, Wolffe, Ps3 generic, ps2 generic.
Do we get 4 cardboards (1 for each named) with two ps3 and two ps2?
Or is FFG gonna screw us and combine the four named on two cardboards, and generics on another? For instance Sinker/Jag, Oddball/Wolffe, Ps3/Ps2

You can see it in the spread. 4 plates so should be all 4 uniques on one side and 2 of each generic on the other.

Seems to indicate each of the limiteds is on a separate chit. Could be 2 copies of the same 2 chits though...

I need all my bases to be the same size to formation fly, so that makes two of us! But I look forward to Republic as it appears that there will be other areas to input skill. Their formation flying (side arc bonuses) is easier than maintaining range 1 of your medium base ship!
Off topic: by the image, it will take real hard getting used to the new model. Whereas the old one was small base, you need the conversion peg. This one already has a large hole!
So does anybody want to hazard a guess at the cost of the cards spoiled today?
50's for the named ARC's? 4-5 for 7th Gunner dude? 6-8 for Cody?

I bring it up because the Awings were 4 unique and 2 generics and we only got 1 of each generic, as the cardboard was Tali/Zari, Lulo/green, Greer/blue. Glad 4 cardboard in the picture though. But they have been doubling up on pilots, so it can be Oddball/ps2, Sinker/ps3, Jag/Jag, wolffe/wolffe, which wouldnt be too bad. I just dont want like the awings with Tali/Zari

The four named probably be identical to rebels 50 for Jag, 51 Sinker, 54 Wolffe, 55 oddball. Generics, maybe 47 for ps2 and 49 for ps3 (1 for inititative and 1 for talent slot)
7th gunner I will guess 4pts. Cody 6pts. Dedicated 2pts. R4-P44 3pts. Palps 14pts
Edited by wurmsIn regards to the news I am really loving Wolffe and Seventh Gunner. After flying the Rebel Arc a bit the gunner is definitely a cool choice, sad Rebels can't use it though.
Welp, I think this article has made me think of getting 2 Arcs for sure, I was already on the fence.
Next Thursday can't come fast enough.

Aw, boo... I like the conversion pegs.
Those ARCs will be pretty brutal for my Clankers.

this is great news! I own 3 ARCs, so buying another 1 for the new bases and cards sounds like a deal!
Just throwing out that maybe Plo Koon found out what might be best to support....
