2/3 Silencers

Saw a triple Silencer list pick up 4 wins at the Toronto open and they were on stream today in Germany (albeit losing).

Its a great ship and I’m interested in seeing how we could kit out lists with multiple Strikers. My initial thought is as follows;

Blackout - fanatical

Recoil - predator

Scorch - fanatical

Longshot - fanatical

I mean, there are no frills here, but they are all solid ships. Or are three silencers better?

My take is more ships the better, let them chase your Silencers around or get distracted attacking your FOs. I would switch the FOs your flying for cost efficient FOs since they have a dedicated secondary role and put that $$$$ into your Silencers. I tried looking at 3 Silencers.... Kylo doesn't fit and having either Avenger or a Test pilot doesn't have any appeal to me

I’d forgotten about Null. I like Scorch and Longshot because they generate better than average offence for cheap fillers. Scorch in particular is very good.

I take your point though that the Silencers are very light. PA is a great upgrade.

I've run the below list to some good success. You can swap out Tavson for BO+TS+PTorps. Snoke works well against 2-3 ships lists or lists that are based around an ace. The Testers can get almost anywhere and block while still lasting long enough to get shots off.

Nice ideas guys, thanks. I’m not a fan of large bases ships so the Upsilon is a no for me.

Got a small tournament in a week where I’ll try the list in the OP.

20 hp behind 3 greens and often with all ships firing 3 reds seems like it should have game.

Blackout with Trick Shot, Recoil with Predator, Longshot with Fanatical, and Scorch with Fanatical is a list replete with 3 attack dice AND 3 defense dice, all reasonably modded

The three named test pilots with Trick Shot, Predator and Fanatical, and Advanced Optics on everyone fits in a squad nicely. I'm not entirely convinced about "Avenger" in a squad that small, though.

Or, if you're prepared to risk lower initiative, 3 Sienar-Jaemus Engineers with Proton Rockets and Pattern Analyser looks like it might have potential.

I keep thinking about going 3 SJE and an Epsilon, all with Advanced Optics. Because I'm obsessed with AdvO.
