Only when you move and they were already hanging on the back for dear life.

Yeah... it just doesn't feel right. Since it's still vague and unknown, I'll lean towards what I want it to be. Hope we find out in an hour.

Vague?? Looks pretty dang clear to me...

...of course it does to you... 🙄
If they're on the back, you can still overlap them with a reverse maneuver. Otherwise they fall off. Interestingly, this can introduce counter-play against Tugs and Sheaths, where you place relocate Buzz's to the back to discourage them from backing up next turn.

Good against them white stop Leia U-Wings too - either way

Yeah I hope the faction I’m buying into has mechanics that have no counterplay too. I’m personally hoping there’s a RR ruling that says if the ship it sticks to is Republic then it does an additional two crits, I mean for balance and all. We just won’t know until it comes out though.

Excellent point, and one reason I hope there isn't a "sticking" rule (though I doubt there will be, anyway). As written, the buzz droids offer an interesting, but still outplayable, control mechanic. By choosing where to relocate them, you can decide when they stick and when they release, or you could persuade your opponent to play differently than they might otherwise.
With sticking, the primary reason to choose one guide over the other is just to see where it fits. Occasionally you may do it to set up for another ship to overlap, but in general it seems you get more options from not sticking.
Confirmed: Buzz Droids don't follow. All the rules are on the card.
QuoteAll the rules are here.

Alex Davy confirms you can barrel roll to ditch the buzz droids.
Yep! Looks like I'm wrong!

Not just that but that they don't follow if at the back of a ship. All rules are on the Buzz Droid card.

Yesssss

Now that that is settled, what can we argue about now? 😉

But you can admit it, which is more than a lot of people can say.
Your position wasn't impossible to understand, but it was wrong. I hope that doesn't make Buzz Droids any less exciting for you; like I said, I expected them to be up your alley!

Who else is hoping for the Sun Crusher to appear in Episode IX?

Didn't they do that already in Force Awakens?

Me too Chad. But i'm still looking forward to them. looks like a fun new game element.

Hardly. Starkiller Base was far too subtle and underpowered to seriously contend with a Sun Crusher.

I see. I "missed" that part of the EU despite having read many EU books and comics. Given the thus far demonstrated propensities of the creative teams in charge of the new films and your characterization of Starkiller as "far too subtle" I'm inclined to consider, "Sun Crusher confirmed for Episode IX" a reasonable take.

Just waiting to see Kevin J. Anderson confirmed as one of the screenwriters.

That happens, I check out and skip theatres entirely... Good grief.
