Princess Leia for example. The outfit she's wearing in the skulpt is actually pretty obscure. I guess it's the clothing she wore under the camo poncho on Endor? As far as I can tell she only wore it in the Endor mission briefing and later when Han is bandaging her arm.
What do you guys think about the possibility of getting character packs for some of the uniques out there? They'd only come with alternate figures for a Unique character already released for the game.
You might get a Leia pack which includes
Leia on Endor wearing the camo Poncho
Leia on Hoth wearing the White suit with tan vest
Leia in her White Senator dress with the goofy hair buns (I'd particularly like to get this figure since it would go much better with my fleet troopers)
Maybe even slave bakini Leia for those out there who'd favor sex appeal over tactical efficiency.
Han Solo could get one. Currently we only have him as he was dressed on Endor.
We could use a sculpt of him in his classic black vested smuggler outfit
Young Han the Mud Trooper
Han in Stormtrooper Armor
Han without the vest as he appeared in cloud city
Luke? So far we only have a skulpt of him in his Dagoba/Cloud City outfit
I'd love to have a Luke in his pilot outfit.
Farmboy clothes
Fancy end of A New Hope outfit with a medal
Edgy black ROTJ outfit
Camo poncho
I can't be the only one who'd really like to get these figures can I?
Think we might some day see alternate unique figure packs?
Jyn Erso in her Eadu rain poncho
Jyn Erso in her Imperial Pilot outfit
I'd also like those as well.

If Leia were released later I feel this would be an option that came in the pack similar to what we are seeing with Sabine and Bossk.

I'd like to have her in that outfit, it is the most iconic outfit she has in my opinion but at the same time it isn't really suited for a battlefield at all.

Disney has killed the idea of that. They won't allow the sale of any slave Leia merchandise or the like. They made a big point of that earlier on.

Again, had he been released later I bet this would have been an option. The others I see as less likely. I could see them possibly doing a Solo outfit like we see in Outer Rim being an option for a specialty event. I'd be into the idea of them having a ANH outfit version of Han down the line as an operative solely to try and be able to run Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie all in a list together. Hopefully that version of Han would have Entourage: Chewbacca to accommodate R2 and 3PO when they are added.

You can find him online wearing the pilot outfit from shapeways. I would like to see Luke as an operative to represent him from the fight with Vader at the end of ROTJ.
I wouldn't mind a medal ceremony jacket luke. Or the cloaked, Jedha Luke from the comics.

Cloaked Jedha Luke?

Maybe when FFG gets tired of printing money by releasing new units?
No. Same question came up for their other game. Never happened.
If Darth Vader does well, I'm sure you're going to see some alternates over time. They might not be wide release, but they will be a thing.
Shapeways has a variety of shops selling Legion replacement sculpts.
You can find a variety of Luke and Leia sculpts at Skull Forge Studios as well as a large variety of other Prequel and GCW era options. 4 A Duel Tabletop sells alternate head sculpts for Han, Luke and Leia as well as many other fleet customization options. Mels Miniatures is a huge shapeways shop that has custom options for most FFG games like X-wing, Armada, Legion and Imperial Assault. Buckethead Bits has replacement and customization options for Imperials that are worth checking out.
Shapeways has become a little pricey but the quality of the work these artists have done in my opinion is worth it.
@Skullforge @BucketheadBits @melminiatures as well as the artist at 4 a Duel Tabletop a big thanks to you all.

Why? Darth Vader is being released as a convention exclusive, so at the very least will be purchased by people who want to sell the various Celebration exclusives on eBay to people who couldn't addend. That isn't a good indicator of anything besides that convention exclusives sell, which is fairly well known already.
I highly doubt we'll see any kind of "character pack" with more than one body in the box, since FFG has only included in the box enough plastic to build the unit, excepting Bossk and Sabine where they come with one or two extra pieces. Releasing entirely extra bodies though is a bit further than I think they'll go. After all, nothing stops someone from buying a "character box" and splitting it with their friend, especially since character cards are handed out as giveaways at events. Or in the case of a re-release, then many people will already have all the cards.

I agree but I hope this doesn't become an option where only those of us who have the time or money to attend a special event can afford to get one. (really upset they moved it from Orlando to Chicago).
If FFG is listening or actually reading, maybe they could do these as an FFG Store exclusive release. Have a limited time pre-order window or a set amount to be sold on a first come basis.
All this Vader release will do is make a few people rich in the secondary market. Not everyone who wants this miniature can afford to go to Celebration.
Edited by C3POFETTWe might see FFG alternate sculpts eventually, but at this point, I'd say why wait? I already picked up a pilot Luke (who looks more like Donald Trump than Mark Hammil, but whatever) and there are other options available. For 99% of games, I don't think anyone would have a problem with subbing in a 3D print Hoth Leia for the Rebel officer uniform version we have.
Skull Forge Studios has 6-7 Lukes (including Pilot, RotJ, and even TLJ) and 2 Leias. If there's enough of a market, I could easily see that line up being expanded.

The company you need to tell is probably Disney rather than FFG, especially since Celebration is a Star Wars convention rather than a miniatures convention.

Yeah, I missed the OP was about multiple characters in one box. I'm just thinking an individual alternate model.
My apologies for implying anything other than "ebay sells" on this forum. Shoulda known people were still bitter.

Okay. Mickey is only 20 minutes away. The next time I visit Epcot I will let him know my concerns. ![]()

I absolutely agree about who gets the Vader model, but as before, it doesn't really matter who gets them or how they resell on ebay. FFG will only care that they all sold at the booth. When a company makes something to sell, and they all sell, it's a pretty good sign they should do it again.

I'm not saying it due to any bitterness, I frankly couldn't care less that the exclusive exists. I was just trying to communicate that the sales of any "exclusives" are hardly indicative of actual demand due to the resellers who attend conventions to buy exclusives.
I'd rather time was spent developing NEW characters, new models, than just a reskin of an existing model. Once the releases slow down and FFG starts reaching for releases, it's certainly not out of the question, especially as a way to release new command cards for a specific hero. Similarly, I'd rather see releases like the Veteran Rebel Troopers for the different uniforms/appearances to fill a similar role (Corps unit) rather than re-releasing a pre-existing unit.
I would agree with the new stuff as well.
Sorry for misplaced grumpiness. I've seen a lot of "ebay is evil" style responses when someone can't get what they want.

This. The printing isn't so bad, it is pricey but the artist do an amazing job at times. My only knock is they build the models virtually without know the actual printed size. So they can be off a bit, size wise.
