What have you played this year?

By Alzer, in Star Wars: Armada

Legion. XW2.0. A few different board games including Zombicide.

Not a single game of Armada. I do hope to change that before the end of Q2. But home renovation and 8mo child is probably the largest barrier for that. Or any real serious gaming. 😄

Had a blast. It was a kick seeing so much stuff on the table. Felt like flying a proper fleet!

Tried generic tie fighters+mauler howlrunner with a flight controller quasar with a large bid and many activations. They most certainly kill things

Sloane?

We had some serious terrifying TIE spam up here when wave VI dropped. Getting TIE Advanced one-shotted is not fun.

@shmitty I actually really enjoy the Pelta. Feels like the logical step down from a VSD.

I've been playing a lot of Raider 2 DCAP Heavy Ions. And a lot of Decimators supporting various ISD's.

we have been busy in 19, final stage of yearly club tournament, regional, and the usual weekly evening, with a quarterly upcoming (speaking of, did North America get the Yavaris / Suppressor kit already?)

Vassal as well, so, really many games already.

The group is stable, some people dont really play right now but have not been lost; new people, on the other hand, have not found their way to Armada, lately.

Managed two games of it so far, I'd always been in the "big games of Armada seem like a bad idea" camp, but I think I'm convinced, it's a good format!

Well I've become a dirty rebel player. I started off the year with very unmannered bomber lists, but my new kick is Madine.

Honestly if you don't have a lib facing back towards your own edge on turn 4 why even bother playing?
