Unpopular Opinion Thread

Inky is 10 points more and has one less Force and for me a worse ability so yeah. The i5 is the only thing he's better at.

I mean, assuming that the game did not have any points caps or if any Mace build cost exactly the same as a Grand Inky build. Even in that much of a vacuum to make things better for Grand Inky, Mace is way better despite being an unpopular initiative.

It doesn't matter that worlds is extended because a new player struggling to buy out of print gunboats wont be in worlds anyways.

Some parts are (the Praetorian Guard fight is probably the best lightsaber fight put to film thus far) but the space fight stuff is pretty mediocre.

Got to disagree with that. It's over stylised and choreographed. There are plenty of times during that fight that Rey or Kylo should have copped it, but they didn't because their opponents chose to take them one at a time, or took their sweet time winding up with some flashy move, instead of just stepping in and stabbing them.

For actual impact in terms of plot and emotional depth, they'll never top the final fight between Luke and Vader. It's just raw emotion expressed physically. And man, that choir in the background. *chills*

Delta 7B should be scalar in its costing. FFG was right to make it so.

Can you explain why you think so? I'm massively in favor of Init-scaling, but I just don't get this one.

Is the idea that high Init makes the lowered AGI less of a drawback? If so, doesn't that have immense implications for every ship chassis and Init of their pilots?

Yes, and yes

The difference is that other ships don't have to be costed as two separate ships (7B and not 7B) so the init scaling is built in from the start.

Also, Jedi are base costed first according to pilot ability given how no config is more of a support ship thing. When turned into fighters, they should be costed as such.

People are also sleeping on 5th Brother + Kestal.

True fact.

Also, if people think the v1 is poor, they surely haven't made good use of Seventh Sister.

Or a cheap Supernatural Reflexes generic Inquisitor, who gets some crazy good action economy thanks to that linked boost action.

Nope. The fight between Anakin and Obi is also way too stylised and it just goes on and on and on.... It was good to begin with but it ends up being boring.

Not after watching the clone wars! The 6 seasons make this fight so tragic that it every second is great

That may be so; but one shouldn't have to watch additional, optional material in order to ensure a major movie provides the emotional gravitas it was aiming for. It should be able to stand on its own merits.

Of course one shouldn't and it should. But having watched it, I also can't just ignore the huge effect on episode III.

The emotional gravitas is there. It just requires another 120h to build up ;)
