He certainly has had his time in the sun with a lot of Riekaan Aces lists, especially about two years ago. I certainly fondly remember throwing 6 black dice with him per round (Tallon then Yavaris), with those sweet, sweet rerolls against shieldless ships to just eat them alive. He's still a fine choice in a Reikaan Yavaris list, though his slow speed and the presence of Sloane/Qasar lists make him a bit more of a liability.

Come the SSD, though, he and a lot of unique aces may quickly go the way of the Dodo if Kallus SSDs become popular, and there's not a lot of reason you wouldn't kit out your SSD to shred enemy fighter balls.

I do like having him along with Norra like you'd said there, with a couple more bombers to help drain the shields first. I guess it's probably just that, since that's already such a strong anti-ship set of bombers people tend back towards Ten Numb in his place so there's a little bit of anti-squad ability. Really good ability though!
