If I declare a unit with one hitpoint as attacker, does the damage still resolve if the opponent plays We need your blood and kills the unit.
We couldn't figure that one out yesterday.

Utterly depends on WHEN your opponent plays WNYB. If he plays it at any Action window before Assign Damage Step, then no, it doesn't count. If he gets a brainfart and plays it after damage has been assigned, then it will get applied even if the unit leaves play. So most likely scenario is that it won't do damage.
