GS Vets have Selfless to pull crits onto them to get them to the point where Saw kicks in. Fly them together, joust straight in. Hopefully Ion a few targets, fire off Leia, Y-Wings K-Turn, U-Wing stops and rotate. Repeat. R4s are there to provide some more maneuverability.

I would humbly suggest you switch one Y, probably Horton, to Biggs. Pull some normal hits from Saw as well

Horton vs Biggs:

• 2 red + 3 red (ion), each with squad-based re-rolls vs 3 reds
• Y-Wings (with the R4) are all blue at speed 1/2 vs X-Wing has Tallon Rolls and better speed 3/4... but Biggs would have to stay close to the squad to help them anyway.
• 8 health vs 6 health
• I4 vs I3
• Biggs can pull damage on to himself
• 49 pts vs 48 pts

I don't think Biggs is worth it here.

Don't forget the agility difference. And so much more saving damage, being able to pull a hit AND 2 crits from each attack

But it's still only one more hit. I'm not convinced that Biggs is better than Horton in this case, and mainly because shackling Biggs to the U-Wing negates a lot of his maneuverability.

It will definitely be interesting to see how bright the future will be for list based on straight jousting. As they say, when 2 opponents are jousting, one is wrong.

Y-wing remain highly fragile. 1 can easily be erased in one turn. Especially since they don't want to be at R3 since their turret and 2red (primary) are useless.

For pure rebel jousting, I believe the best (HS) ship now is the U-wing (with Leia somewhere). I am 7-1 with a 3U+1X-wing list. The crazy rotation the U-wing can do make them so surprising and so efficient. Leia remains the key for sure, but I still was able to win game with the U-wing carrying Leia down.

You want to keep your Y-wings? Try to squezze Magva somehow. She will protect you vs all the LOCK of this world.
