Im thinking of creating a healer, focusing on natural healing with botanicals: herbs, salves, etc. Most likely Force Sensitive. What Specializations and trees would you recommend?
New character brainstorming
Alchemist?
I would say Seeker-Pathfinder, as Survival, Medicine, and Xenology are all career skills
Or hermit, perhaps
Alchemist sounds good too, but I would keep it as a second spec (rp-wise), as the character is growing in power, and learns to manipulate nature, and not just use it
It depends of your background, really
The Healer from the Consular would seem like the specialization to pick for this.
Skills of Medicine, Xenology, and Knowledge Education.
Talents of Physician to help when healing, you can say the benefit is from the herb and salves they have.
Talent - Knowledgeable healing - heal more with using destiny points.
Natural Doctor - reroll for medicine

If you want to play a healer type, why not simply take the Healer specialization from the Consular career?

Its where im probably starting, just seeing if any other interesting combos have been discovered.
The problem you may find playing a healer is what to do when you are not healing. Consider what else they will be doing rather than just healing.
