Which alt art is everyone talking about? I see a lot of good and not so good custom jobs out there...

This one. People think she looks goofy, but I think she cute. Although she does kind of remind me of Ocasio-Cortez for some reason, but that just makes me want the alt art more.

Yeah, the art isn’t great, in my opinion. The full art on the back looks better. Looking at it closer, it looks like the stats side was scrunched up a little to better fit in the stats.

Not that bad.

But it now I want an actual AOC alt art version of Jess. She was a fraking sniper on Wednesday.

Wait, is the front art stretched or is the back art squished? Her head is a different shape between the two of them.

I mean, in the grand scheme of FFGOP's X-Wing artwork, she's solidly somewhere in the middle.

I think it's fine...

But I do wish there were more official alt arts which were actually from the original media. Movie stills, promo shots, images from Rebels. Or pre-production design sketches or such. Like, a series of Ralph McQuarrie alt-arts?

I mean, I know there are probably, like, "reasons" why this isn't happening from FFG, and no doubt there are 3rd party alt-arts. I still wish it would happen, though.

I would say front art is stretched. It looks like it was resized to fit the stats better, but that led to horizontal squishing, making her face look more oval than rounded.

In any case, it looks sloppy. I guess one of FFG's graphic designers never learned how to properly use a resize tool.

Let's talk about that really awesome Grand Inquisitor alt art instead. It's the best one I have seen in a long time. (I just wish he was hyperspace legal, considering it's a prize for a hyperspace event)
