I've just run into a curious situation. Playing with DS during RTTDL, Extracurricular Activity.

Basically, Beyond the Veil triggered when she ran out of cards in her draw deck. Take 10 damage.

I played Deny Existence https://arkhamdb.com/card/05032

to nerf the 10 damage. Presumably, I just discard Beyond the Veil? Would this be correct?

Sounds right to me. And put Deny Existence under Diana, if appropriate.

Between this and Delay the Inevitable, Beyond the Veil really doesn't like TCU.

Correct. Beyond the veil specifically says to discard it after the damage is dealt. The damage is ignored, and then you discard BtV.

The card is great, I'd just pulled an Elder Sign and retrieved it from under her in a last ditch attempt to avoid the inevitable, I'd put it there a while back, RTTDL : EA has you discarding cards virtually every turn and I never thought it would get that far. She survived, for the record, 6 Damage, 6 Horror and managed by a miracle to evade Vassal of the Lurker on a 2 vs 2 token pull as Whipporwills were also in attendance, popping into the Faculty Offices with her penultimate action and resigning with Rita, who had the 4 clues necessary. Exciting stuff.
