Where I get excited for X-Wing, is that eventually we'll probably get:

Kylo Ren (crew?) Supreme Leader

Poe Dameron (t85?) Resistance General

What do you guys think we'll see from alternate versions of some of our key pilots and crew as new movies are released?

What about Resistance Lando?

Will Kylo get 3 force on his second go around?

Will Poe get a crew card? A new ship?

I'm expecting T-85s in the next movie, and Poe flying one.

The Resistance will be so hard up they'll have to go back to flying T-65s and Y-Wings.

Bb-8 is replaced by a R2-8, since he can't fit in in the Astro slot.

Then, instead of shutting down like R2D2, bb8 goes and blows up the hangar in a raging fit.

You could also have 'alternate' versions of older pilots, too.

The current Luke ("Red Five") and Wedge ("Red Two") are clearly the Yavin versions, but it wouldn't be unreasonable to have a Hoth era version ("Rogue Leader" and "Rogue Two") or, in Wedge's case, the younger Y-wing pilot we see in In The Name Of The Rebellion (Wedge's ability with a veteran gunner/dorsal turret-armed Y-wing is actually quite a scary thought, even if he had a lower initiative....)
