I'm really excited to hear anything about it!

I'm leaving in a few minutes to attend it (the one here in Minneapolis at the FFG Event Center).

Wish me luck. Even if you're actually a good player these things still involve a decent portion of luck so I'm trying to remind myself that anything can happen and just to hope for the best and have fun.

The last I heard there were 12 people at the tournament.

12 people there and sadly only 2 of us were from Minnesota. How pathetic was that? Sheesh!
