im in a similar boat, picking up jyn and two pathfinders tonight for a game.

I believe infiltrate is going to be huge, jyn and the pathfinders can meddle with objectives and shoot away at your opponent while the rest of your army marches forward. I like both of your lists, these are the two im torn between:

I love your 3 AT-RT list. I'm playing a 3 AT-RT list right now. But, I feel like Duck and Cover has to be a staple on the Pathfinders. With Infiltrate being wholly new, I'm a little unsure of how to build around them. But, I think the AT-RT are probably better suited as reinforcements for them than trooper spam. I donno! It all feels up in the air for the moment lol

I don't have any of the bold units :) but looks fun!

Seems like everyone believes Recon Intel is necessary on the Pathfinders/Jyn. I guess so you can deploy outside Range 3, but then move into an advantageous spot?

Just keeps your opponent from using aggressive Scout deployments to shut out too many options.

good point, good point. I actually remembered Recon Intel was in the Wookiees and Royal Guards, which I don't have :( .

I really like the second list, but I would run 3 ATRTs with flame throwers instead of 2 rotaries and 1 flame. They want to sprint to Jyn and the Pathfinders to draw the heat off of them while they run with/hold objectives. That is a powerful team either way though.

Im currently really enjoying a beefy Luke team with stims on him and force push, 3 wookiee squads with bowcasters, duck and cover, and stims, and 3 reb trooper squads with med droids and z6 for 796. People look at it and think, man, that team doesn't have enough activations...but they don't die either ;) I wonder if adding Jyn in there in place of a wookiee squad can be even better?

I am curious to see how effective Jyn and one Unit of Pathfinders can be with Infiltrate and Recon Intel.

My feeling (without trying it yet) is that you need two units of Pathfinders and Jyn to make an effective Infiltrate Team. Otherwise your advanced attack might get killed immediately, being alone and exposed on the other side of the table.

I can see a quick Objective grab and run with a small infiltrate team or maybe a quick trade, taking out one of your opponents strongest units and likely sacrificing your Pathfinders to do so.

If you can Infiltrate-Recon Intel and get a good few shots off right away that can definitely put your opponent on their heels! We’ll see!

I mean, they're not on the dark side of Mars from your army. They're just another component. Infiltrate =/= must deploy in the middle of nowhere with no support.

Yeah, like if you're playing Key Positions, you're probably deploying them directly on the center terrain piece objective, not the one closer to your opponent's deployment zone. One gives you a head-start on winning the battle for that objective, the other is complete suicide.
