Hm. I can see reading the RRG as RAW the way I said it, you have to be able to "complete the maneuver" before rotating/shifting forwards or backwards. But the Core Rules is nice and clear there.

You guys have this all wrong. There’s only one explanation here...

EPISODE 2.4:

THE RETURN OF REBEL BIAS

Rebels vs. Rebels in the finals. A guaranteed victory!

The maneuver is a Tallon Roll so bumping would only happen if none of the 3 possible final positions resulted in an overlap.

I understand that. I'm saying reading the Rules Reference alone I can understand how the TO could come to that conclusion RAW.

Their interpretation should affect X-Wings and B-Wings as well. If the Marshal rules differently for either of those then I'll give your, albeit joking, supposition some weight. Right now I'm leaning more towards a fatigue induced mistake.

That’s how I read it too. Unfortunately this happened in a top 4 game, in a System Open, where it likely may have impacted the final result of the game.

However, Marshalls do their best and will make mistakes.

This is what I get for going out to lunch with my wife. I just missed this by the time I got the stream back up at home!

I'm leaning towards this. Second day of a big event so they've got to be a bit tired.

Dude, going out to lunch with the sigi should always top watching people pushing things around a table. These events are recorded so can always be watched later, time with your life partner is priceless.

Big time.

It’s unfortunate that it happened. Unfortunate for both guys involved in that game, especially Marc. However, it is what it is.

On a positive note, it didn’t impact someone getting or not getting a worlds invite.

Rose vs Wong is the final.

Peter Rose:

"Zeb" Orrelios + Leia Organa
Blue Squadron Escort + Servomotor S-foils
Blue Squadron Escort + Servomotor S-foils
Blue Squadron Pilot + Jamming Beam
Blue Squadron Pilot + Jamming Beam

Calen Wong:

Bandit Squadron Pilot
Bandit Squadron Pilot
Bandit Squadron Pilot
Partisan Renegade + Leia Organa + Tactical Officer + Pivot Wing
Blue Squadron Pilot + Jamming Beam + Tractor Beam
Blue Squadron Escort + Servomotor S-foils

There is definitely that silver lining.

Wow... Peter made a dial error and conceded before shots were even fired. I feel for him.

Calen Wong is the Toronto champ.

Ouch. Peter Rose misdialed a 2 hard and flew a B-Wing off the table by accident and conceded.

Here come a number of people blaming Calen for not allowing him to take the move back... 🙄

Peter Rose made that call. Not Calen.

Hope not.

Well that just happened

With flight and lodging for worlds on the line, I doubt there are many who would have let him take it back. He still gets all the other prizes and a ticket to worlds.

I think he actually may have set TWO dials wrong for both B-wings. I think only one would have actually flown off, but the other would have been well out of position.

I would hate to win in this way, but on the other hand Calen had every right to not let Peter correct that mistake.

Just for the record, as I brought it up, I also think Calen shouldn't let him have taken it back - not in the finals of a System Open!

I too would hate to win this way!

Given the fact that there was $$ (flight and accommodations) on the line, I would have done the exact same as Calen.

Meanwhile in Hyperspace land, after three rounds, seven undefeated 3-0 lists remain:

4 Rebel, 1 Empire, 2 Resistance

The Upsilon bogeymen have been slain.

Where are the lists? BCP?

It's interesting to see B-Wings back in a big way. Was not expecting that at all
