I may be late on this but just heard reports of Rey in an E-Wing and Kylo shooting up some K-Wings in Ep 9. Also more Seismic charges. Sweet!

Mostly the reacts are because this seems like some internet fanfic, taking two Legends ships that are not particularly Star Wars-y, and way out of the appropriate timeframe. When you don’t provide context immediately, it looks like a troll thread.
Plus, even on their own terms it seems odd - the E-Wing is a premier star fighter, but the Resistance has no money or people. Even if they pick up both, why would Rey be in an expensive *and* antiquated fighter?

Zeroh has been pretty credible but he’s also had some missed calls. Guess his credibility is in the eye of the beholder.
The E-Wing is interesting especially since it was made canon in a recent Poe comic. The K-Wing I wonder about yet it does have some credibility. JJ has been quoted as saying he’s bringing in things from ALL sources to tie everything together. Our game is a source. From what I’ve heard, FFG created the Raider for X-Wing then it was picked up by Battlefront 2 and Inferno Squadron. So maybe the K-Wing is JJ’s way of working another X-Wing ship into the movie. Plus, neither have been released yet in 2.0 so there’s the Disney $$ grab. Do a Rebel AND Resistance re-release.
Zeroh pumps out 5 Star Wars videos per day, he was bound to get a couple guesses right. His channel is based strictly on making Star War guesses based on every rumor on every fan forum site. I wouldn't buy into that Zeroh has any insider knowledge...Rian Johnson even made fun of him.

Yes.....but to be specific for readers of the thread, a Nemoidian had one in a museum.
Even if the thing was in service five or six years after Jakku, it'd still be even more outdated by Takodana or D'Qar as the Y-wing was in A New Hope and Rebels . It's why I don't get the desire of some people to give them the tech upgrade slot.
I could see it being part of a 'depot reactivation' since the impression we've been given is that the Resistance's stock of T-70s has been basically wiped out and Hosnian Prime presumably took most of the T-80s with it when it got Starkillered.
However, I don't expect it to have too starring a role, just because " it's not an X-wing " - basically the same reason it was kind of an oddity even in the novels and comic; all the writers wanted their stories to have X-wings in it, so we ended up with them creating the " X-wing Mk15 Mod-J Version II as updated " in each subsequent series in increasingly convoluted arguments as to why the bloody thing was still the primary fighter and the E-wing basically got consigned to comparative obscurity.
The K-wing....I'd be much more surprised. Firstly it's a ship with no 'new canon' pedigree but far more importantly, It's a heavy assault bomber - so there's very little reason for it and the B/SF-17 to have both been developed in the same timeline.

Yeah, I can see that. He floods YouTube and almost all claim to reveal “Shocking” details. I know it’s click bait and I delete most notifications. This one really caught my interest though. We’ll see how it pans out. If I hadn’t seen that E-Wing in the comic, I’d probably ignore this one too. However, it was in that scene for a reason.
I kinda wish this were true. Then I can move these unused Rebel game pieces from my beloved Rebel box and move them to the dusty Resistance box where they would be much more at home.

That would definitely have helped. I'd also point out that your username combined with the fact that your initial responses didn't clarify or answer anything (as well as the fact that Google searches of "episode 9 k-wing" and "episode 9 e-wing" returned nothing of note) just made the whole situation come across as a troll not knowing when to cut the trolling.
Gentle reminder to all, discussing rumors is fine, but having a source is pretty important if you don't want others to think you're the one starting the rumors.

K-Wing is a simile to the B-1 (when taking SLAM into account) as the B/SF-17 is to the B-52. That aside, I think the E-Wing is a maybe (early New Republic design, Lando may have a few lying around as part of a defense force if he's finagled his way into being a system governor this time) but extremely unlikely and the K-Wing has a slightly better chance than a snowball sticking around in Death Valley, in the open, in July...
