Sell generic wrecks with smoke plumes that create LOS blocking up to T-47 height and you can sign me up for a six pack!

I would just leave the model but put a counter showing that it is a wreck. By the rules now the tank would be removed but rule of cool you would leave the tank maybe put some cotton smoke clouds on top.
Something like this? (not my photo)

Put an electric tea light in it, and it will flicker and glow.

They arenโt hard to make with batting, black spray paint, and an LED.
so saw on the spanish site the new vehicles are "intended" for april, also krennic is slotted for march but no specific dates yet.
Sounds about right, Krennic & DT next month, hopefully both Heavies in the same time the next month, then Bossk/Sabine may?

That seems to be the trend they're following. The AT-ST Down pack would then be the June release, with nothing (thus far) for July or later.

Not necessarily, the ATST down pack could be a concurrent release with something else since it doesn't appear to be part of the normal Reb/Imp releases i.e. only 1 item.
They might also announce another neutral/terrain expansion with it - like Priority Supplies and the Barricade pack.

Priority supplies was released by iteself in its own month.

Possibly, though as @arnoldrew mentioned, our only precedent for terrain pieces is for them to be released as the solo expansion for the month. We'll have to see if that changes, though I'd expect it wouldn't.

Eh, it was announced close enough to Bossk/Sabine that it wouldn't surprise me if the three were all releasing together.

Again you could be right, but the precedent isn't there for that. Priority Supplies was announced March 9th, and Han Solo and Rebel Commandos on March 24th. They were still released over a month apart.
