I am a new player to the world of warhammer invasion and i have a question about Savage Gor

Savagae Gor : Battlefield. This unit deals 2 additional damage while attacking if you have 2 or more developments in your battlefield.

"deals 2 additional damage" it means that when this unit declared as an attacker it has +2 power or it can inflict 2 damage anywhere ???

If there are two developments in the battlefield then the Gor's recieve 2 extra power when attacking.

Savage Gors does not gain power icons from this ability. During the Assign Damage phase, you may simply assign two extra damage. It is important to keep this distinction in mind, since cards like Demoralize (reduce unit's power by two until end of turn) will not affect this damage.
